To left on ground, blanket spread with flagon, platter of food and pieces of fruit, including apples and cherries.
To right, lute on ground, and female musician, wearing kerchief, playing dulcimer, beside man, wearing hat, with left hand pouring flagon into goblet held with right hand, both seated on turf bench before flowering trellis (Scene, Secular: Courting).
