Angel, Archangel Michael: transfixing Dragon -- Archangel Michael, wearing cross-surmounted fillet and cross-inscribed breastplate or garment, holding heart-shaped shield in left hand, stands on back of winged dragon and with spear held in right hand transfixes it through the mouth.
Bands of foliate and zoomorphic ornament frame miniature and textblock. Filagree initials.
