Pentecost -- Virgin Mary, rays as nimbus, with joined hands, is seated, flanked by 12 Apostles, four seated, one looking up and shielding eyes with left hand, another raising right hand. Rays descend from dove of Holy Ghost hovering above Virgin Mary.
Scene in illustionistic space with vault (?) supported by slender columns, trefoil window in background, and low wall or bench flanking opening in foreground with pot containing flowering plant on each side.
Miniature and text framed on three sides by rectilinear bars of gold decorated with vine scroll. Margins decorated with border of vine scroll.
