Evangelist Luke, nimbed, wearing hat, sits at writing desk with both hands on parchment on the desk. Behind him, ox (Evangelist Symbol), lays on floor. Scene in room, with landscape visible through arched doorway.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament. In left margin is helmeted soldier, holding saber in right hand and in left hand, shield (escutcheon) with arms of Sivry (barry of twelve argent and azure).
