Apostle, Thomas: Incredulity -- Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns, partly draped with shroud, bleeding from wounds in hands, feet, and side, with left hand holding cross-inscribed bannered cross-staff and with right hand grasping and drawing forth right hand of Apostle Thomas, both surrounded by seven apostles, all nimbed (most with only nimbi visible). Scene in room with circular and arched window, one decorated with possibly face of Christ. Illustration within architectural frame for Gospel Sequence before First Lesson in Octave of Easter. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including strawberries.
