Bust of David, crowned, with joined hands, enclosed in initial C.
In upper margin, bust of man; in lower margin, deer. Both enclosed in leafy medallions surrounded by flowers and gold balls, and linked by red band decorated with gold foliate ornament.
Text is beginning of Psalm 4 for Compline on Sunday.
