Roman de la Rose: Scene, Lover paying Homage to God of Love -- God of Love (Eros), crowned, winged, possibly nude, with quiver hung around waist (partly visible), sits on cushioned bench, extends hands to extended joined hands of Lover, wearing feathered cap, partly kneeling, accompanied by woman, representing Personification of Villainy, wearing diadem and necklace, extending her hands to the Lover's shoulders.
All before trellis and garden wall with dog, man and buildings in distance.
