Miniature divided into two compartments:
1) Christ: Resurrection -- Under trefoil arch, Christ, cross-nimbed, showing wounds, holding cross-staff in left hand, steps from sarcophagus, around which three soldiers sleep.
2) Christ: Ascension -- Christ, only feet visible, ascends into clouds. Below, apostles look on.
Inscriptions XPI RESSURRECTIO & ASCENSIO above miniature in later hand identify scenes below.
Decorated initial C begins Compline.
