Confessio Amantis: Scene, Sultan of Persia dying, and Scene, Squire stealing Ring -- Before six soldiers wearing helmets and armor, one holding halberd, Sultan, crowned, wearing gold armor, with arrow protruding from chest, holding sword with right hand, is astride caparisoned horse. With left hand he extends ring to Prince of Rome, wearing helmet and armor, astride horse. Behind the Prince, squire, with sword at waist, holds small sack with left hand, and the ring with right hand.
