Christ: Deposition -- Nicodemus, wearing hat, is on ladder leaning against arm of cross with titulus INRI, holding top rung with left hand, and grasping three nails with right hand. Below, Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat, with purse at waist, holds with both hands over his right shoulder, nude (?) body of Christ, crossed nimbus, with crown of thorns. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, grasps right hand of Christ. Evangelist John, nimbed, stands behind her; only face of Holy Woman, nimbed, is visible behind them.
Margins decorated with border of floreate rinceaux.
