Bust of man enclosed in initial P decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in lower left margin, man, wearing diadem (crown), raising with left hand, scroll with pseudo-inscription, seated on pillows. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on 8.10, feast of Lawrence of Rome.
