Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Archangel Gabriel, pearled scalloped nimbus, stands with scroll inscribed AVE MARIE GRA(TIA)M from Luke 1:28 in left hand and raises right hand toward Virgin Mary, pearled nimbus, veiled, with right hand raised and book with one strap in left hand. Both flank vase of lily.
Scene against diapered background within initial D decorated with foliage and with diapered spandrels.
Margins decorated with rectilinear foliate extensions.
In upper margin, hybrid bird and hybrid man (trimmed).
In right margin, hybrid man, wearing tall hat and holding rod, and escutcheon of du Bois (argent, two bars and a canton gules).
In lower margin, Scene, Burlesque: Judgment -- Beside seated animal, dog presents fox in manacles before two male judges, one wearing cap, both seated on bench. Below, escutcheon of du Bois, variant (argent, two bars gules, on a canton of the second a mullet of the field).
In left margin, escutcheon of Tuchet (ermine a chevron gules).
