Christ: Piet³l -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, is seated with body of Christ, bleeding from wounds, on her lap. At left Evangelist John, nimbed holds head of Christ with draped hands. At right, Mary Magdalen, nimbed, holds cloth to face with right hand and vessel with left hand. Bones are on ground in foreground; behind figures are tau cross with titulus INRI, and two ladders leaning on cross arms.
Scene in landscape with hill; city in background with towers topped with domes.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including daisy, viola and columbine, and inhabited by birds.
