Canticle: Isaiah I.
Apostle, Thomas: Incredulity -- Thomas, nimbed, kneels, raising right hand fingering side wound in slitted garment of Christ, cross-nimbed, with right hand pointing to His wound and cross-staff in left hand. Tree.
Scene beneath double trefoil arches, within initial C decorated with marginal foliate extensions.
In lower margin decorated with foliate bars, partly formed by hybrid man, wearing cap, terminal of human head, and balls, two scrolling tendrils enclose bas-de-page scenes as follows:
Christ: noli me tangere -- Mary Magdalen, nimbed, veiled, kneels with joined hands raised, before Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing slitted garment revealing side wound, with His right hand lowered and cross-staff in His left hand.
Christ: on Road to Emmaus -- Christ, cross-nimbed, with right hand raised, and two disciples, one wearing pilgrim's purse over shoulder and holding staff, all depart from portal of building at left.
