Upper miniature
Christ: Crucifixion and Instruments of Passion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, crowned with thorns, wearing loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to tau-cross, surmounted by titulus INRI. At base of cross kneels king, wearing crown, touching cross with left hand.
Surrounding cross are Instruments of Passion, including ladder, lantern, coins, dice, nails, spear and sponge, pincers, purse, hammer, column, scourges, and withes.
Scene in room.
Lower miniature
Christ: Resurrection -- Christ, rays as nimbus, partially draped, stands with right hand raised and holding cross staff in left hand, in front of opening of tomb. He is surrounding by three soldiers, wearing armor. Scene in landscapse setting.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including violas, daisies, and strawberries.
