Zone 1:
1) Joshua: Conquest of Ai -- In combat, soldiers, many in mail with helmets, one with visor, some mounted, including one on caparisoned horse; many are armed with notched falchion, halberds, lances, shields, mace, battle-axes, and swords. Above city gate, soldier holds bannered spear, and archer shoots with bow and arrow. Illustration of Joshua 7:5.
Zone 2:
1) Joshua: Sin of Achan -- Joshua, wearing cap, kneels with joined hands raised, looking up at Ark of Covenant in form of architectural reliquary on altar above hill. Two men attend Joshua, wearing cap, standing before Achan kneeling and holding silver bar and coins (money) in drapery fold, with vair-lined cloak at his feet, and two members of his family. Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, emerges from cloud and points below to Achan. Illustration of Joshua 7:17-21.
2) Joshua: Sin of Achan -- Two Israelites attend Joshua, wearing cap, with left hand raised to his face and with right hand pointing to Achan holding silver bar, two sheep, and two members of family. All, with blood flowing from wounds, are stoned by three Israelites; building. Illustration of Joshua 7:24-25.
