Margins, unfinished, decorated with unpainted floreate border. In upper margin, two men, or man and angel, playing trumpets flanking lozenge enclosing nude Christ Child, rays as cross nimbus, flanked by two angels. In right margin, in barbed quatrifoil, woman wearing bejeweled hat, head flanked by blank scroll, holding empty box, possibly cumean sibyl. In lower margin, two angels playing viol and lute, flanking foliate lozenge enclosing David, wearing miter, kneeling with joined hands before altar on which is vase with stem. Window in background. Margins inhabited by flying bird; two winged hybrid men blowing horns; winged head; putti seated on vase; eagle; rabbit; and monkey.
