Evangelist Luke, nimbed, looking up at pen in raised right hand is seated holding scroll on lap with left hand. At left Evangelist symbol (ox), nimbed and winged, holds inkpot and pencase in mouth. Scroll draped over one wing is inscribed S(E)C(UN)D(U)M LUCAM.
Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux.
