Roman de la Rose: Scene, Lover kissing Door of Beloved -- Lover, wearing feathered cap and fur-lined mantle, extends hands to metal ring of doorknocker and raises it to his lips, before arched portal of building with windows, foremost wall decorated with portrait medallions.
Scene grassy in garden before wall behind which are tree, buildings, including tower, and hilly landscape.Text written in ruled space resembling scroll unfurling at edges.
