Decorated initial D enclosing ornament resembling flower petals.
Amid foliate ornament in margins are man, wearing short loin cloth, bent forward at waist, surrounded by three birds; man, wearing armor and helmet, holding lance with both hands and piercing neck of lion; and man, wearing armor and hat, holding shield in left hand and raising sword in right hand above small bear (?).
Ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
