Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Christ, nimbed, partially draped in mantle, wearing crown of thorns and bleeding from wounds (Man of Sorrows), seated on canopied throne, holds in left hand crown surmounted by dove of Holy Ghost. The crown is also held in right hand of God, nimbed, seated on canopied throne, holding cross-surmounted orb in left hand on left knee. Beneath the crown, Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneels on cushion, with joined hands raised. In background are angels. Scene encircled by clouds of heaven, emanating rays. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame, including two statues standing on corbels in niches.
