1) John Calybita: Scene, Servant bringing Message to his Mother -- At left, accompanied by five female attendants (most with only heads visible), at least one veiled, mother of John Calybita, veiled, swooning, with both hands raised, before servant, with left hand extended toward her.
In center, servant, raising right hand toward John Calybita, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, gesturing with both hands.
2) John Calybita: Scene, giving Gospels to his Mother -- At right, accompanied by possibly seven female attendants (most with only heads visible), one veiled and one wearing cap, mother of John Calybita, veiled, extending hands to book in extended hands of John Calybita, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habits.
