Christ: Presentation -- Before draped altar, Virgin Mary, nimbed, holds with extended arms nude Christ Child, nimbed, on drapery. Under conical canopy, Simeon, wearing miter, stands on the other side of the altar, holding Christ Child. At left are two women, man, and Joseph the Carpenter, holding candle and basket containing two doves. Behind Simeon are two men.
Scene in building with apse, decorated walls and tile floor.
Foliate initial D with floreate decoration. Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament and inhabited by hybrid man, hybrid bird and two confronted cocks (roosters).
