Three-tiered, crenellated and circular walled city, in which are two groups of confronting helmeted soldiers holding heraldic shields and spears. Miniature is associated with prophecy of Pope Nicholas V with his motto inscribed below text, POTESTAS CENOBIA AD LOCUM PASTORUM REDIBIT. Miniature alludes to dissension between East and West at Council of Constance. Folio numbered "XXIII" at upper margin.
