Scene in hilly landscape with tree and city buildings in background. Illustration for First Nocturn and First Lesson of Matins on Friday in the Fifth Week of November. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear or hat, emerging from clouds, holding scrolls inscribed HEC DICIT D(OMINUS) and SICUT COGITAUI (left).
