Christ: Transfiguration -- Elias and Moses, each nimbed, bearded, supporting arched frame of icon of half figure of Christ cross-nimbed, right hand raised, book in left hand, supported on back of nimbed angel, bending forward; above, Apostles Peter, James and John, each nimbed; inscription, “How Our Lord went up to Mount Tabor and manifested the sign of His second coming and His disciples became as though lifeless” (Ge’ez).
