Psalm 009 (Vulg., 009) -- Initial C of Confitebor enclosing hybrid serpent-like animal; marginal extensions formed by dragon-like hybrid animal extending into upper margin; in right margin, the hybrid animal biting terminal of bust of soldier, helmeted, hands raised, extending into lower margin terminating in head of woman, wearing berbette over snood, biting ball, the whole perched on by hybrid soldier with body of two-legged beast, helmeted and wearing mail, with right hand raising spear, partly obscured behind shield.
