Initial D:
Christ: before Pilate -- Two men, one wearing pointed cap and holding club, present Christ, cross-nimbed, blindfolded, with wrists bound, before Pilate, wearing pointed cap, with right hand raised and rod in left hand, seated on bench.
Scene beneath double trefoil arches, within initial D decorated with foliate extension. Beginning of first Versicle for Prime.
Initial A:
Half figure of nimbed prophet, wearing pointed cap, with right hand raised and scroll in draped left hand.
Figure within decorated initial A. Beginning of Hymn for Prime.
In lower margin, two scrolling tendrils enclose bas-de-page scene:
Bestiary: Wolf and Sheepcote -- At portal of building, nude man follows man raising club. Wolf bites paw before sheepcote in which are sheep.
