Trinity -- God, seated on throne, wearing triple crown papal tiara, holds in His lap Christ, as Man of Sorrows, with rays as nimbus, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds. Above God's right shoulder is dove of Holy Ghost. Six angels flank the throne, including two holding open curtains. Before the throne kneel two more angels, holding Instruments of the Passion, including crown of thorns, sponge on reed, spear, nails, and tau cross.
Margins with veinscroll, inhabited by angels.
