Virgin Mary: Death -- Within decorated initial U, head of Christ, crossed nimbus, appears in medallion. Below, seven apostles (three indicated by nimbi only), including Peter and Evangelist John, gather beside Virgin Mary, wearing wimple, eyes closed, hands crossed at lap, reclining. Above her head, Evangelist John, without nimbus, holds head in right hand and extends left hand to her shoulder. All other figures have decorated nimbi.
