Christ: Entombment -- Within initial O, body of Christ, rays as nimbus, wrapped in shroud except for head, is lowered into sarcophagus by two men, probably Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands, and Evangelist John, nimbed, stand behind sarcophagus.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament, including viola and rose, and inhabited by birds.
