David: communicating with God -- David, crowned, nude, stands in water, orant looking up toward half figure of Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, beardless, right hand raised in gesture of blessing, left hand raised, holding tripartite globe, within arc of Heaven. Upper half of scene is against pink diaper, and lower against burnished gold, all within initial D.
Fantastic animal in left margin.
