Apostle Paul, or saint, nimbed, holding sword, stands in landscape. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including viola, blueberry (?), holly, bladder cherry, and campanula, and inhabited by two fantastic birds. Text is first lesson in first nocturn for Matins on Sexagesima Sunday.
