Scene, Liturgical: Burial -- Two men stand in grave and hold body sewn in shroud. Beside the grave stand tonsured acolyte, holding situla in right hand and processional cross in left hand; tonsured priest, wearing vestments, holding aspergil in right hand and open book in left hand; two men wearing caps and stoles, possibly deacons; man wearing stole and standing beside black-robed, hooded figure, and additional black-robed figures, wearing hats. Scene in graveyard enclosed by cloister, and before porch of church.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament, inhabited by woman (?), possibly mourner, wearing black robe and hood, with arms tucked inside garment; and man, wearing tunic inscribed with escutcheon of arms (or an inverted chevron gules, with three groups of three dots gules), holding bells in each hand.
