Initial L:
Half figure of nimbed male saint with joined hands raised in front.
Figure within initial L decorated with foliate extensions. Beginning of Collect for Suffrage to All Saints after Vespers.
Initial C:
Holy Women: at Sepulcher -- Beside upright lid, nimbed angel sits on sarcophagus, in which are graveclothes, raising right forefinger toward three nimbed, veiled Holy Women, two holding ointment jars, and one raising right hand. Beneath niche of the sarcophagus, three soldiers, in chain mail, sleep.
Scene beneath double trefoil arches, within decorated initial C. Beginning of first Versicle for Compline.
In lower margin (bas-de-page), dog seated on hind legs before hybrid man, wearing broad hat, playing bagpipe, forming part of scrolling tendrils enclosing two youths, one heaving stone and the other pointing to ground (Sports and Games ?), and man with right hand holding stick and with left hand holding rope around neck of monkey (animal-training).
