Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loin cloth, is affixed to cross with three nails. He is flanked above by sun and moon. At left stand Evangelist John, nimbed, and Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands. At right, man, probably Longinus, wearing hat and fur trimmed garment, indicates Christ with right hand. Behind him stand soldiers holding spears.
Margin, lower:
Christ: in Gethsemane -- Christ, crossed nimbus, kneels with joined hands next to rocky outcrop; in foreground, three apostles sit on ground, two with arms crossed on breast.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
