To right, Christopher of Lycia, nimbed, wearing belted purse, submerged to knees in water, with both hands on staff, and supporting on shoulders Christ Child, cross-nimbed, with right hand raised and with left hand holding tripartite globe (Christopher of Lycia: carrying Christ Child). In background right, hermit in cave (Christopher of Lycia: Scene, with Hermit). Minaiture for beginning of Collect for Feast of Apostle James Major (07.25). Initial E enclosing half figure of Apostle James Major, nimbed, with right hand holding staff slung with scallop shell and with left hand holding book. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing hats, emerging from clouds, holding scrolls inscribed CIUES APOSTO(LORUM) and CRISTOFO(R)I S(AN)C(T)I (left).
