Magi: Adoration -- Three magi hold gifts; the middle-aged bearded magus wears hat and mantle with fur collar; the youngest black magus, wears turban and crown; and the eldest bearded magus kneels before Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated, holding on her lap nude Christ Child, both surrounded by the magi. In background wall and shed, with landscape with trees and star beyond wall. Scene within decorated initial E.
In lower margin, owl holding in its beak small bird, possibly a thrush (?), amid foliate ornament.
