Christ: Nativity, and Shepherds, Annunciation -- Midwife kneels, bathing Christ Child, cross-projecting nimbus, in basin, beside Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, with right hand raised to neck, seated on hillock, looking toward Virgin Mary, with her head resting on her raised right hand, reclining on bed, before ass and ox (only foreparts visible), beneath arches of building.
Above one of the arches, nimbed angel (as half figure) lowers hands toward below two standing shepherds wearing caps, one holding staff and horn, and three sheep.
