Psalm 027 (Vulg., 026).
1) Initial D:
David: anointed -- David, wearing tunic and mantle, holds pedum in his right hand and raises his left hand.
He is flanked by Samuel, grasping David's hair, and man, with his left hand touching David's shoulder and pouring on his head oil from vessel of affusion in his raised right hand.
Scene within initial D of verse 1, decorated with geometric and foliate ornament, including vine leaf and grapes, and hybrid animal with bat wings, diapered background, and foliate spandrels.
2) Painted one-line versals:
Initial N decorated with a dog.
Initial I decorated with hybrid animal holding vessel.
Initial E decorated with foliage.
Initial P decorated with foliage.
Initial D decorated with human or hybrid head.
Initial C enclosing bust of hooded man in profile, decorated with foliate extensions and dog head.
3) Painted line endings:
Hybrid bishop with one leg, wearing miter and vestment, blessing with right hand raised, rabbit, two hybrid men, dog, man with one leg, blowing trumpet, and human head.
