Shepherds: Annunciation -- Of two shepherds wearing hoods and mittens or gloves, one wears hat. Each holds pedum and sits on ground next to dog wearing collar. They look up toward hovering angel, indicating the shepherds with right hand and holding with left hand scroll inscribed PUER NATUS EST NOBIS.
Margins decorated with border of foliate rinceaux some sprouting from rectilinear bars enclosing text.
Beginning of introit for Mass on 01.01, octave of Christmas Day.
