Marco Polo: Text, Livre des Merveilles, Book II, Chapter 62 -- Buildings of Sinjumatu (Chi-ning in Shantung province), one with Chinese man in portal, stand on either side of forked river. Two boats float on river, one with Chinese man.
The two forks of the river flow east toward Manzi and west toward Cathay.
