Job: seated among Ashes -- Job, nimbed, extending left hand, nude body covered with sores, and partially draped, is seated on ground at opening of hut. Figure within initial U decorated with foliate ornament.
In upper and lower margins, medallion each enclosing bust of man, one wearing hat, surrounded by flowers and gold balls. They are linked by band in left margin, decorated with shields, portative organ (?), pearls, gemstones, halberd, and armor.
Beginning of first lesson in first nocturn in Matins on the first Sunday in September.
