Scene within initial P decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate extenders inhabited by fantastic animal.
2) In upper half, Christ-Logos, crossed nimbus, gesturing with right hand and raising left hand; in lower half, David, crowned playing psaltery.
Scene within initial B decorated with foliate ornament and with foliate extenders.
Margin:
Half figure of man raising right hand and holding scroll with left hand; gold balls, and vine decorated with balls and foliate ornament terminating in foliate medallion enclosing.
