John Baptist, nimbed, right hand indicating lamb holding bannered cross staff, seated on book held by John's left hand; Evangelist John, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing over chalice held with left hand; pope, nimbed, wearing triple crowned papal tiara and cope, holding with right hand, processional cross with two cross bars and sudarium; cardinal, nimbed, wearing red hat and vestments. Behind them are figures, nimbed, (some only nimbus visible), two (?) tonsured, monk, tonsured, wearing black habit inscribed with gold cross, and monk wearing black habit with hood.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament.
