Beginning of Daniel.
Daniel: in Lions' Den -- Daniel, wearing hat, with hands raised, is in stone enclosure, from which emerge heads of three lions. At right is half-figure of angel, emerging from cloudy arc of heaven. He has right forefinger raised and left hand on top of head of Habakkuk, holding basket in right hand and extending left hand. Scene in decorated initial A.
In lower margin is fox with man's head. Drawing of second head is beneath foliage of ornamental border.
