Scene, Sports and Games: Chess -- Within gold frame, chessboard with five red and gold pieces on squares lettered A-K for eighteen moves; diagram numbered 266. To left of board, initial C decorated with scrolling foliate infilling and with foliate ascender. Left and lower margins decorated with foliate extensions, with upper part terminating in dragon-like hybrid animal biting frame of board.
