Peter of Luxembourg, nimbed and tonsured, hands raised, kneels before draped prie-dieu on which is open book.
Figure in room with barrel vault, leaded windows, bookcase with doors open showing books on shelves, bench with pillow, open door at right. Above right, bust of angel holds with both hands, escutcheon decorated with arms of Peter (argent, a lion rampant gules, two tails), and cords of cardinal's hat surmounting the escutcheon.
