Initial B enclosing head of bearded man facing left margin.
Left margin decorated with border of ivy rinceaux inhabited by: half-figure of winged man wearing hat, emerging from foliage, raising right hand to hat, holding green dog (?) with left hand; opposite initial B, hybrid man wearing crown of foliage, with human torso on body of lion (?), holding axe with right hand, shield with left hand, three of four paws walking on pattens.
