Christ: in Gethsemane -- Chalice is on knoll; Christ, crossed nimbus, with joined hands, kneels before the chalice. Eight (?) apostles, nimbed, recline asleep behind Him. In foreground, next to Christ, board spans small stream. In background, outside of picket fence, near opening into garden, stand Judas (?) with group of soldiers, some holding spears, some holding candles or torches. Behind them is city.
